E Ahamed passed away after cardiac arrest in Parliament during the President's address. Doubts are being raised over the presentation of the Union Budget on Wednesday, after the death of former Union Minister and sitting Member of Parliament E Ahamed. The minister was admitted in a critical condition after suffering a cardiac arrest during the President's address in both Houses on Tuesday. However, postponement of Budget is unlikely as there has been a precedent where a Budget presentation went ahead after passing an obit reference. The government has advanced the date of budget presentation so as to complete the entire process before the end of financial year.
