The conference, themed “Africa: United in Peace, Strong in Security,” was hosted by Ethiopia. They affirmed that Ethiopia’s defense and security institutions stand as a source of pride for Africa, showcasing a solid foundational structure. Ethiopia’s Minister of Defense, Aisha Mohamed, emphasized the country’s commitment to sharing its security and technological expertise with fellow African nations. In turn, the visiting defense ministers expressed eagerness to collaborate with Ethiopia, commending its impressive institution-building efforts and the current status of its security landscape.
