Speaking at the Africa Prosperity Dialogue on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, she said Africa’s long-term growth depends on how well its countries work together to build a truly integrated economy. She encouraged policymakers and business leaders to place renewed emphasis on initiatives that strengthen cross-border cooperation and regional integration, saying these efforts are critical to driving sustainable growth. Africa must unite; this is not about erasing our sovereignty. It is about organising our sovereignty in the service of shared prosperity and a stronger continental market,” she said.
