LETTERS:I AM prompted to highlight the worsening haphazard parking by motorists who dine at restaurants in Jalan SS18/1B in Subang Jaya daily. This is because parking bays are taken up by restaurant operators placing tables and chairs on the inner road of Jalan SS18/1B for customers. With vehicles illegally parked on the right side of Jalan SS18/1B, other vehicles using the one-way stretch have to carefully drive through to avoid mishaps. We must not forget the accident that killed a diner at an open-air restaurant in Taman Equine, Serdang, in November 2018 after a vehicle ploughed into diners. A couple of years ago, a car ploughed into diners on an open parking lot in Section 14, Petaling Jaya.
