The Times has shared its list of the 16 best micro-bakeries across the country, including the "coolest names in breads and buns." Included in the round-up was Acre Farm in Friday Street near Woodbridge. The farm is run by Emily and Alexander Aitchson alongside his parents, Caroline and Robin, at Monewden Hall. In October of last year, the couple expanded their offerings with the opening of Acre Bakery in Woodbridge. Speaking about Acre Farm, The Times said: "The younger couple decided in 2022 to make the farm sustainable, so with every loaf bought from the bakery, they take a contribution towards improving the farm."
