The accused in a case pertaining to the harassment and intimidation of a National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases doctor escaped from court premises on Thursday after a local court rejected his bail plea. The accused, Syed Zaid, was presented before the South sessions court at the Karachi City Court. When the court denied him bail, he fled the premises. A case pertaining to blackmail and harassment has been registered against Zaid at the Saddar police station. Separately, a local court remanded a woman for harassing and blackmailing men.
