‘‘It’s the small things that really matter in life when you’re in that situation. The experience provided her with a lot more life experience, a further love for agriculture, but a dislike for the commerce side. While a self-described ‘‘people person’’, she enjoyed working with horses, saying they seemed to be less complicated than humans. However, as a strong believer in not dwelling on the past, the accident has provided me with a new way of looking at life. ‘‘The small things don’t seem to matter as much and I have a new appreciation for all the things I have and can do today.
