A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) 3 has seized an abandoned luxury car with no legal ownership and false documents at Golapbagh in Dhaka. The vehicle was seized from the parking lot of House 23/B in the area on Thursday, reports our sister concern the Bangla Tribune. The building’s owner Abul Hossain said a business acquaintance had abandoned the car. “Ziaul Haque left the vehicle in my parking lot some 1.5 months back as he failed to pay my overdue money,” he said, adding that Ziaul had not given him any documents for the vehicle. RAB-3 officials said they suspected the vehicle might have been imported through evading taxes and used for smuggling and drug peddling.
