ATS commando martyred in operation against terrorists in Peshawar
The operation against terrorists continued till the filing of this reportPESHAWAR: One commando of Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) was martyred when police launched an operation against terrorists in Hayatabad. According to initial information, police raided a house in Hayatabad phase 7 after receiving reports of the presence of terrorists. CCPO Qazi Jamilur Rehman said that ATS commando Qamar Alam was martyred while one terrorist was gunned down in the operation after which more contingents of police rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. He said that possibly there were six to seven terrorists present in the house. The operation against terrorists continued till the filing of this report.
