In my book, it is not kosher to lead customers to believe they are getting 5G service when they are not. In October, AT&T announced they would turn on their 5G network in 12 cities by the end of 2018. AT&T says their 5G network delivers "a peak theoretical wireless speed for capable devices of 1 gigabit per second." In the same press release, AT&T announced 99 new 5G Evolution (5Ge) markets bringing the total to 239. How many customers will think they are on AT&T's 5G network and that its speed is not a big deal?
