According to Auditor General’s Report 2016, 221 projects are still ongoing and the rest have yet to commenced. Those projects, with allocations of RM1.28 billion, are being implemented by 11 state ministries or departments. Last year, the expenditure performance was at 77.5 per cent of RM992.50 million from the allocation approved for the state development. The report indicated that the state’s Financial Statements as a whole has provided a true and fair view of its financial year ending Dec 31, 2016. Sabah’s accounting records have also been properly maintained and updated.
