KUALA LUMPUR: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will call up several government ministries and agencies to clarify issues raised in the Auditor-General's Report 2016 Series 2. Hasan said the PAC was generally satisfied with the report and commended civil servants on their awareness of the need for prudent financial management. Meanwhile, Madinah said the National Audit Department (NAD) had taken proactive measures by conducting meetings with the relevant agencies before presenting the report. "The National Audit Department has conducted meetings with enforcement and Federal Government agencies to determine certain violations or negligence on the part of civil servants for immediate action," she said. "The National Audit Department is cooperating with all enforcement agencies including the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission," she added.
