Outside Argentina tooYesterday’s press conference also detailed how AFIP officials have been contacting real estate brokers outside the country in order to also detect inconsistencies in foreign jurisdictions. “We launched information requests for 2200 properties in the United States, Uruguay, Brazil and Chile,” another AFIP official said. According to Abad, his team will be looking into “national and international conduct” of Argentine contributors during the whitewash window, which lasts until March 2017. Bond launchPrat-Gay also launched one of the two bond issues in which contributors will be able to purchase when participating with the whitewash.
