A DAY after a group of volunteers accused Delhi-based Observer of Barnala, Vijay Chauhan, of sexually exploiting his domestic help, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Wednesday ordered an inquiry into the case. Head of Grievances Redressal Committee of Punjab AAP, Jasbir Singh Bir, will head the probe, said a senior leader of AAP. Chauhan, for his part, has denied the charges and claimed it to be a conspiracy against him by disgruntled party leaders who have been denied party tickets. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu from Ferozepore had resigned in July to protest against party’s “anti-Punjab” attitude. Shampura (Gurdaspur), Jasiwinder Singh Jahangir (Amritsar), Sukhdeep Singh Apra (Jalandhar), Darshan Singh Dhaliwal (Shri Anandpur Sahib), Deepak Bansal (Bathinda) and Jagdeep Singh Sandhu Fattanwala (Ferozpur).
