Celebrated Lagos policeman, Assistant Superintendent of Police Sunday Erhabor, has narrated some of his many encounters with irate members of the public including how a woman slapped him in her husband’s presence while he was on duty. In an exclusive interview with The PUNCH, Erhabor, who joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1992, recalled some of his worst days on duty. Then the woman came down and yelled, ‘Why are you stopping us?’ Then the next thing was that she slapped me on the face. Erhabor recalled, “I was in the car when I blocked the guy. Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has also applauded the cop, while urging his colleagues to emulate his virtues.
