A woman is in serious condition after a shooting occurred on Queen St. E and Sherbourne St. on Thursday night. Police received a call at 8:46 p.m. The woman was transported to local hospital with a gunshot wound to the torso. Northbound Sherbourne St. at Queen St. E. was closed and traffic was diverted. Police are searching for the suspect as of 9:30 p.m. and they believe there has been more than one shot fired.
