As the fires raged at FR Tower, she called her husband Raihanul Islam Rimon, who worked at US-Bangla Airlines. After obtaining her MBA from Asian University, Mithi joined Heritage Tourism on the 9th floor of FR Tower. In the evening, her husband and cousin helped identify her body with her wedding ring. She was taken back to her natal home in Bogra’s Santahar on Friday morning where she was laid to rest.
