A status report on the progress of cut-and-cover drain projects at Chitlapakkam
1/11At Thirumgal Nagar Second Street, the cut-and-cover project initiated by the Chitlapakkam Town Panchayat is incomplete. The drain which ends abruptly at this street is filled with sewage. Construction of the drain at Maraimalai Adigal Street started a little over a month ago and the work seems to be progressing slowly. The project is undertaken by the Chitlapakkam Town PanchayatConstruction work has just started at Bharathi Street and the progress is slow. Even while the construction is under way at Bharathi Street, many houses are releasing waste water into the drain
