In a daring, eight-hour rescue, the British navy saved the 27-member crew of a burning Italian cargo ship off France on Monday. Moroccan media report that the cargo ship had a total 56,000-tonne capacity and was 214 metres in length. It remains unclear what the Italian ship was carrying as cargo.
