Out of the 314 passengers onboard, over 100 were travellers who had originally planned to fly to the Chinese city of Wuhan. But due to a city-wide lockdown in the epicentre of the novel coronavirus outbreak, the travellers found their home was beyond reach and opted to board flight TR188 heading for the city of Hangzhou. At about 3am on Jan 25, she was finally sent to the quarantine hotel near the airport. Altogether, seven passengers onboard flight TR188 from Wuhan were found to have been infected with the virus.
