Many of our EU neighbours will not be sorry to see March 2020 - a fateful and fatal coronavirus month - fade off into history. Yet still the health system - especially intensive care services - risks being overwhelmed. One in seven of those hit by coronavirus are vital health workers, which is making the situation even more difficult to handle. This country of over eleven million people has a good health system, largely funded by workers' private health insurance. But with almost 5,000 of its 13,000 coronavirus sufferers now in hospital, the system is groaning and scarcely able to cope with more general health problems.
