The primary object of fascination is a new hatch that has appeared in the otherwise peaceful Wailing Woods. So far, no one has had any idea what this hatch does, or what the scribbles point to. You can break the hatch only with a port-a-fort, but even if you do, you can’t enter it. So this may be a more involved version of that, once players are finally able to get the hatch open. How about a bunker in the middle of the woods sealed by an unbreakable hatch?
