First of all, what is this social contract? The social contract is our Federal Constitution. Second, the term "social contract" is an artificial construct. It has nothing to do with a social contract, but it is about fidelity to the founding principles and the laws of the land. For many Malaysians, this is our Malaysian dilemma because the more things change, the more they remain the same.
