Share TweetBy Chito ChavezDepartment of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año gave local government units (LGUs) five days (Friday) to submit their accomplishment reports with regards the 60-day deadline on the clearing of all obstructions on public properties. The DILG supervised validation will determine the progress of the LGUs’ adherence to the President’s order to clear public roads of obstructions. On Monday (September 30), the DILG Validation Teams have visited all LGUs for an assessment on their compliance to the clearing of obstructions on public places. The success of this program also depends on the cooperation of the general public,’’ Malaya said.
