Share TweetBy Argyll Cyrus GeducosMalacañang welcomes the proposal of Senate Minority Floor Leader Franklin Drilon to cancel the passport of alleged drug queen Guia Gomez Castro because of her alleged connection to rogue cops who recycle illegal drugs seized during narcotics operations. Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo made the statement after Drilon said the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) should immediately cancel Castro’s passport unde the Philippine Passport Act. Under the Philippine Passport Act, the DFA secretary is authorized to cancel a passport in the interest of national security or when the holder of the passport is a fugitive from justice. In a statement, Drilon said the DFA should cancel Castro’s passport because it appeared that the supposed drug queen has no intention to return to the country.
