The city is reminding drivers to slow down, drive to winter conditions and watch for snow-clearing vehicles. There were 99 collisions on Calgary roads between midnight and noon on Friday, with five resulting in injuries, Calgary police say. Winter storm and snowfall warnings issued by Environment Canada on Thursday remain in effect for Calgary and for much of central and southern Alberta. As of 9:10 a.m., Route 93, Route 94 and Route 29 were on detour. Motorists are advised to take caution and drive to winter conditions.
