I know there was a game the other night but it really was something like a pretend game for the TFCs, right? Having accomplished what they accomplished last season and tomorrow being the first regular season game, I would expect a truly celebratory atmosphere around the pitch. Not that every game isn’t a crazy celebration of singing, chanting and imbibing (the latter I’m told about) but tomorrow should be special, shouldn’t it? What a quintuple that would be: Champions League, Canadian championship, Supporter’s Shield, MLS Cup and the Trillium Cup. Love Dr. Seuss.
