Nine runners had to be taken to local hospitals during the Ottawa Race Weekend. Ottawa paramedics said two people were in critical condition, including a man in his 30s. Within a few seconds, the man in his 60s regained consciousness and was transported to hospital in critical condition, paramedics said.
