No arrests during Raptors Eastern Conference final celebrations

Despite thousands of fans celebrating in the streets after the Toronto Raptors defeated the Milwaukee Bucks to become the Eastern Conference champions last night, Toronto police confirmed that no arrests were made following the team's historic win. On Saturday night the Raptors defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 100-94 to advance to the NBA Finals for the first time. Thousands of fans took to the streets chanting "We the North" and "Let's go Raptors" while police cars, TTC buses and streetcars honked in celebration. Arrogante says even though she became aware of video footage that showed Raptors fans running through traffic and dancing on top of TTC streetcars, "nothing came of it" and police were able to ensure public safety.
