Heritage Air Express Managing Director, Md Faizul Islam Hiru, confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune, adding that three people are injured and two others have been missing since the incident. Jalal Uddin Bhuiyan, duty manager of the travel agency's airport office, said: "There were three women and six men among the dead. I heard the rest died, trapped inside the building.”At that time, around 15 to 20 Heritage Air Express’ employees were present on the office floor. Since the incident, all offices of the travel agency across Dhaka have been closed indefinitely until further notice.
