DHAKA, July 15, 2023 (BSS) - At least 10 people including nine Bangladeshi workers and one Indian were killed in a fire that broke out in a sofa factory in Hofuf industrial city area in Al-Ahsa of Saudi Arabia on Friday. Hearing the screaming of people, they came out from the factory through stairways but other fellow workers couldn't do so. Three of the 14 Bangladeshi workers were not inside the factory during the incident, they said. He asked the Labour Welfare Wing to take required measures to send the bodies quickly to Bangladesh or for burial in the locality. The Labour Welfare Wing is overseeing the incident intensively.
