A total of 86 suspected criminals have been arrested by operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command for committing various offences which include; kidnapping, armed robbery, political thuggery and attempted dumping of newly born babies. Also on 23/06/2019 at about 2300hrs, the Command received credible intelligence that an armed robbery gang arrived Bauchi metropolis from Jos, Plateau State in a motor vehicle, Golf Passat model, blue in colour with registration No. NTT-640-AA with intent to rob innocent citizens of the State. Meanwhile, a discreet investigation led to the arrest of their accomplice in Bauchi one Alhaji Jamilu aka Jamilu Thinking who harboured them in Bauchi while the case is under investigation, while effort is on top gear to arrest the remaining suspects. Finally, the Command wishes to appreciate the members of the public for their continuous support and cooperation in its quest to rid the State of crime and criminality”, he concluded.
