International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and Inter Sector Coordination Group (ISCG) have identified symptoms of severe acute malnutrition (SAM) in 759 Rohingya children under the age of five. Children suffering from malnutrition have 12% higher mortality rate compared to normal children. Earlier this year, Unicef reported that Rohingya children in western Rakhine State require urgent assistance, including access to health care and education.
