Three people have been killed and eight others injured in a road accident in Dangi area under Nagarkanda upazila of Faridpur district. The deceased are Mehrunnessa, 55, Sheken Shekh, 70, and Wajed Choddar, 75. Nagarkanda police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) ASM Nasim said: “Two died on the spot and the other died when the injured were taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital. “On request of family members, we handed over the bodies to them without an autopsy.”Meanwhile, angry mob vandalised the bus and blocked the Dhaka-Barisal highway. Later, local police and firefighters went to the spot and brought the situation under control.
