A daughter of the deceased, Mama Dede told TheGhanaReport.com that her father, Mr Gyamirah, “was in his shop when a fire ravaged through a number of wooden structures”. She narrated that the family lives away from the shop and were called to the scene following the inferno. My Gyamirah, popularly known as ‘Old Boy’ was known to be a very good tailor who sometimes worked till very late at night before closing. The cause of the fire has not been established but properties worth tens of thousands of Ghana Cedis are estimated to have been destroyed.
