The Committee, established under Regulation 261 of the Minerals and Mining (Licensing) Regulations, 2012 (LI 2176), recommended E&P as the successful bidder. In summary, the Company demonstrated the highest capability to operate the Damang mine, substantiated by their submission of the most viable tender." The companies were:• Vortex Resources Mining Group• Engineers and Planners Ltd• Heath Goldfields Ltd• Maripoma Mining Services LtdAfter verification, only E&P and Heath Goldfields Ltd met the mandatory requirements, while Vortex Resources and Maripoma were disqualified for failing to submit the required documentation. The Ministry commended the Minerals Commission and the Tender Committee for their dedication to this national assignment and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the Damang Mine’s role in Ghana’s economy.
