Locals and police sources said the temple of Shib residence and Uttam Misra's residence in the Bhimshi village were two of the places that were looted. Other temples which were stolen from, includes Gouri Akhra temple, Madan Mohan temple, and Sharbojonin Durga Mondir. Superintendent of Police Md Faruk Ahmed (PPM) in Moulvibazar visited the place after the incident. Brass idol, plates and money from the donation box were stolen from the temples.
