According to findings from the IEA poll, conducted in December 2025 and released on February 11, 2026, 71 percent of respondents said they are worried about food prices and the cost of other consumer goods. 68% of Ghanaians approve of President Mahama's performance - IEA surveyPer the report, unemployment and illegal mining ranked among the top national concerns. Additionally, 46 percent of respondents identified unemployment as one of the most pressing issues facing the country. Overall, the survey reflects a mixed national mood: strong approval of the President’s performance, alongside sustained concern about rising living costs and household economic pressures.
