At least seven people have died and 20 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Gopalganj town. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Gopalganj Fire Station Master Niamul Huda said Pirojpur-bound bus of “Dola Paribahan” from Dhaka hit a stopped wood-laden truck from behind on Dhaka-Gopalganj highway at Bedgram area of the town aruond 8pm on Friday, leading to the casualties. The firefighters have rescued 20 injured passengers from the spot and whisked them off to Gopalganj General Hospital.
