A 65-year-old man has been killed in an attack following arbitration over his son’s alleged extramarital affair in Chapainawabganj’s Shibganj Upazila. The incident occurred around 11pm on Sunday in Court Bazar of Shibganj municipality, Inspector SM Shakil Hasan confirmed. Two other sons, Rabbikul Haque, 33, and Abdul Awal Haque, 30, received primary care. Anisur reportedly died on the spot after being struck with a blunt object during the ensuing chase and counter-chase. "We are conducting raids to arrest those involved in the killing," said Inspector Shakil.
