About a week ago, players of Elmina Sharks through their head coach Yaw Acheampong petitioned the club's management after they noticed a 65 percent deduction from their salaries though they had not had such an arrangement with the club. Speaking to www.ghanaweb.com, he assured the players that the management of the club hasn't taken any decision to slash player salaries, adding that the situation has been resolved and the remainder of their salaries should reflect in the various bank accounts by now. “Management hasn’t taken any decision to slash player salaries.
