more-inA ‘cordon and search’ operation by the Falaknuma police of the South Zone, early on Thursday morning led to the arrest of 64 suspects from areas falling under the limits of Falaknuma, Chatrinaka and Moghulpura police stations. Mr. Tajuddin said the antecedents of Md. Ajiz and 45 others, stated to be from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh were being verified. Twelve people were being produced before an Executive Magistrate for being ‘bound over’, Mr. Tajuddin said. Six persons were arrested for riding horses on main roads, for their negligence in endangering the lives of people.
