The injured workers are: Reaz Hossain, 25, Mainuddin, 25, Md Mia, 35, Amzad Hossain, 40, Shah Alam, 55, and Zakir Hossasin, 32. Sitakunda police station Officer-in-Charge Delwar Hossain told Dhaka Tribune that the workers were injured when molten metal fell on them. All of the injured workers were admitted to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH). Alauddin Talukder, assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of the CMCH police outpost, told the Dhaka Tribune that four of the injured workers were transferred to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital as their condition deteriorated.
