KUCHING: Six taxi drivers were among 45 nabbed for illegal gambling during a week-long raid operations in Sarawak. “Our team arrested eight suspects, seized 10 live cockerels and other gambling paraphernalia,” said Dev. Meanwhile, 28 suspects nabbed for involving in illegal 4D where mobile phones, printers, calculator, betting slips and cash amounting to RM4,836 were confiscated. Apart from that, a team from the CID headquarters also raided a counter, offering cyber gambling reload services and nabbed three individuals and seized four tablets. He said the police would continue their efforts to weed-out illegal gambling in Sarawak.
