Out of 7,729 public transport workers who got tested for drugs, 35 were bus drivers, 17 were bus conductors, and one was a dispatcher. Only Mimaropa and Western Visayas public transport workers tested negative during the nationwide test. Aquino also said that drivers who tested positive for drug use would have their licenses withheld pending the issuance of clearance by the PDEA. Based on data, a total of 3,654 public transport workers were arrested for drug use from January 2018 to January 2019.
