Share TweetBy Analou De VeraThe Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reminded employers to strictly follow the pay rules of their workers who will report for work during the Holy Week. •If the employee worked, he/she shall be paid an additional 30 percent of his/her basic salary on the first eight hours of work. the employee shall be paid an additional 30 percent of his/her hourly rate. •If the special day falls on the employee’s rest day, he/she shall be paid an additional 50 percent of his/her basic wage.
