Five joint venture firms have qualified for the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) service auction that scheduled to be held on September 28. The firms are –Roots Infotech Limited, Agile Technology Limited, REVE Number Limited, Greentech International Limited and Infozillion BD Teletech Consortium Limited. The consultation of auction procedure will be held on September 25. The MNP service will help subscribers switch from one operator to another without changing their current number. On September 5, the regulator announced a fresh schedule for the long-awaited MNP auction.
