5 charged in connection with Canada Day shooting in Aurora

York Regional Police have charged five men in connection with a shooting at an Aurora banquet hall Friday night that left four people with gunshot wounds. Police said the shooting happened just after 10 p.m. at DiNardo's Mansion banquet hall near Yonge Street and Industrial Parkway South after a fight broke out between guests. On Tuesday, police arrested and charged the five suspects with aggravated assault. Investigators said the men fled in a white Porsche, which they later tracked down. Investigators are looking to identify a male who was seen leaving the scene of the shooting and are appealing to witnesses to provide them with any information they may have about the incident.
