The preliminary exam for the 47th batch of the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) is set to be held on Jun 27.The exam will take place from 10:00am to 12:00pm at test centres across eight divisional cities, according to the Public Service Commission (PSC). "The preliminary exam for the 47th BCS will be held on Jun 27. It will be conducted simultaneously in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh," PSC spokesman SM Matiur Rahman said on Monday.He added that the exam halls, seating arrangements, and instructions for candidates will be published on the PSC's website (www.bpsc.gov.bd) and Teletalk's website (http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd).For the preliminary exam, candidates will need to take a 200-mark multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam. The application fee and the marks for the oral exams have been reduced. The marks for the viva exams have been lowered from 200 to 100, bringing the total marks down from 1,100 to 1,000.
