The Public Service Commission (PSC) has fixed the start date for the written exam for the 46th batch of the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS).The exam will begin on May 8 across eight divisional cities, including Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh, the PCS announced on MondayA total of 21,397 candidates who cleared the preliminary exam are now waiting to take the written test. "The commission has decided to hold the written exam for the 46th BCS on May 8. The exam will take place simultaneously in the eight divisional cities," said PSC spokesman SM Matiur Rahman. "The schedule for the written exam has not been announced yet. "Details of the schedule, seating arrangements, and instructions for candidates will be available on the PSC's website (www.bpsc.gov.bd) and Teletalk's website (http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd), according to Matiur.The 46th BCS notification was published on Nov 30, 2023, and the preliminary exam was held on Apr 26, 2024, with 254,561 candidates participating.The preliminary exam results were published on May 9, 2024, with 10,638 candidates passing.
